Abstract

Since 2014, evangelical parliamentarians and charismatic catholics have proposed 11 bills in the Federal Chamber to implement the Escola sem Partido program to ensure the precedence of family values "about the school education in aspects related to moral, sexual and religious education" and to ban of the educational legislation references to gender, sexual orientation, sex education, gender identity, gender inequality, gender violence. Transformed schools and school activity in battlefields. In reaction, educators, human rights activists, leftist politicians, press organs, among others, reject the censorship to the teachers and didactic materials and the imposition of religious content to school. Using a legal provision concerning separation of churchs and State, State secularism and the LDB, evaluate that the Escola sem Partido program affront the freedom of professorship, scientific knowledge and secular and republican education. Fore this framework, the empirical research investigates the emergence and political constitution of ideological indoctrination in schools as public problem. Prioritizes the analysis of the actions of christian deputies in their formulation and publicity in the debates on the National Plan of Education and, especially, its protagonism in the Comissão Especial Escola sem Partido. Map legislative output, its actions, strategies, mobilizations and political alliances in defense of this project and examines, as a matter priority, the 67 sessions of the Comissão Especial, creates at the 55th legislature, and its repercussion on social networks and the press. To Ground on pragmatic sociological theory, especially in the concepts of problematization, investigation and experience, to describe the emergence and publicizing of indoctrination in schools as public problem, also appeal the literature of anthropology and sociology of religion on secularism, education and chistian political activism anti-gender.
