Abstract

Ligands able to form complexes with two metals or a metal and a Lewis acid are known as bifunctional ligands. In this project, these ligands will be synthesized two types of complexes: (1) complexes containing a chiral Lewis acid and an achiral bifunctional ligand and (2) chiral bifunctional binders containing two different metals. In both cases, these complexes will be used for the development of sequential enantioselective reactions. (AU)
