This project will investigate the volitional element of love in the analysis of cases of conscience and the way of convincing confession. The project is part of the research I have been developing about Martín de Azpilcueta Navarro's Manual Confessors and Penitents. This project proposes to investigate an area still little studied in the theme of Confessionalism, that is, convincing through the rhetoric of love. The guidance of Professor María Martín Gómez, along with my advisor in Brazil, Rafael Ruiz Gonzalez, will be fundamental to the results of this research. (AU)
