Abstract

The following project takes into account the student's skills and background, with the main objectives of bringing the student over the next 2 years to know current research topics, starting with the foundation and strengthening of their mathematics skills and ending reading articles in Dynamical Systems and Mathematical Physics. At the end, the student will have had the opportunity to know results in Hyperbolic Geometry, Ergodic Theory, Dynamical Systems and Thermodynamic Formalism, with the final goal being to understand Patterson's ideas which had a big influence in Dynamical Systems.
