Abstract

Contemporaneity promotes a completely new way of relating to other individuals through virtuality and electronic devices. Transformations in historical, social, and cultural contexts imply changes in the family and in the roles of each member in that institution. Thinking about these changes, the project aims to provide an analysis, from the point of view of psychoanalysis, regarding the establishment of the relationship between mother and baby, difficulties encountered by mothers in establishing this relationship and what possible interference of virtuality in this link. The data collection will be by semi-directed interview and the results will be analyzed through discourse analysis, using psychoanalysis as a theoretical contribution. (AU)
