Abstract

The exploração sexual de crianças e adolescents (sexual exploitation of children and adolescents) (E.S.C.A.) is an internationally phenomenon recognized since the 1st World Congress meeting about sexual exploitation, held in Sweden in 1996. The ESCA, depict a situation of commodification of infantile and juvenile bodies, forced into sexual and commercial exploitation networks, which greatly benefit from profits being made by organized crime networks. The ESCA exposes children and adolescents to sexual practices considered prohibited under various laws and those violate their fundamental rights and undermine their integral development. The sexual exploitation has spread more intensely over the last 10 years, with the development and diversification of new technologies that have been producing different forms of criminal networks and exploitation of children and youth people. Once the internet grew to be a vast field of virtual networks, it become (se turnout) a tool where accused gained greater ease and agility to find children and teenagers. The paper of this research is aimed to problematize the current producers' contexts of ESCA starting by the advances in technology and the internet nowadays, seeking out to identify their new dynamics, configurations and factors combined that support it maintenance. The methodology used will be bibliographic research, identifying articles that were published in Portuguese between the years from 2011 to 2019 in online journals, books and magazines and articles that have recognized quality and related to the theme, through the CAPES and SciELO portals and the search tool Google Scholar.
