Abstract

In view of the recent expansion processes of the automatic toll payment companies on the concessional highways of the state of São Paulo, the project present discussions about the fluidity of traffic on roads and highways and how this has been a point of interest for large banking groups-financial. We seek to analyze the dynamics of popularization of these new ways of paying tolls - digital and automatic payment. Focusing our attention on the five main suppliers of this service: Sem Parar, ConectCar, Move Mais, Veloe and Taggy. It is necessary to explain who are the economic and financial agents interested in the massification of this new market niche. In such a way that, if the highway concession presents itself as a system of world standardization, it is also an effective means for the reproduction of a capital that was idle in the past. This fact is evidenced by the association between the electronic toll companies and the financial groups, as well as by the intensification of the dispute in this market by these groups. (AU)
