Abstract

Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a serious social problem that, occurs mostly in domestic environments, often following direct or indirect involvement of children. The present study aims to conduct a systematic review of the literature on the effects of exposure to intimate partner violence on child development, as well as investigating the emotional, social and physical consequences of such a phenomenon in the life of children. A systematic analysis will be made of the national and international literature of the last 11 years (2010-2021) indexed in different databases, which aims to identify and analyze the evidence on the impacts of IPV exposure on children and adolescents.
