Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) of pesticidesPesticides are classified as chemical and/or biological products used to prevent andeliminate pests and diseases from agricultural crops. However, the overuse and/orimproper disposal of pesticides have generated an increasing necessity to monitor thesesubstances in environmental, food and clinical samples. Thus, our objective is to obtainpesticide SERS spectra using colloidal systems of silver (AgNP) and gold (AuNp) nanoparticles. Besides, the mechanism of adsorption of the pesticide on the nanoparticlesurface will be investigated and analytical curves will be performed. These studies willbe carried out aiming to obtain detection limits at levels of concentration established byregulatory agencies for the pesticide under analysis. Computational techniques will beapplied in the analysis of the results. This IC project is linked to the Thematic projectFAPESP 2018/22214-6 "Rumo à convergência de tecnologias: de sensores e biossensoresà visualização de informação e aprendizado de máquina para análise de dados emdiagnóstico clínico".
