Abstract

Analyze the proximity relationship between the supplying sites of the ten principal horticultural products commercialized, by quantity, by the São Paulo Terminal Entrepot (CEAGESP), in the year of 2019, considering the main role of the supplying centrals as distributors of the local and regional horticultural outputs. Brazilian food supply, especially related to the horticultural products, comes from the supplying centrals commercialization, such as the CEAGESP and Ceasas spread all over the country. These centrals works as logistic nodes between the inferior circuit agents of both rural and urban economies and, also, are significant links of the spatial production circuits of the horticultural merchandises. In this way, the initial hypothesis is that most of the São Paulo Terminal Entrepot suppliers are family farmers, besides the conjecture that beneficial associations among these ranchers and the entrepot makes the local and regional production basis stronger, what might lead to more diversity on the production.
