Abstract

Geography, as a curricular component, aims to instigate in students a different type of knowledge than the other subjects, this form of reasoning being peculiar to the discipline. Therefore, the geographic reasoning would have to, when analyzing the phenomena present on the earth's surface, be based on a locacional attribute so that, throught it, it can be described and interpreted the totality of what is being placed in relation. The Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) for Elementary School, when presenting the Geography's content, puts for geographic reasoning seven principles, which when being used together exercise spatial thinking. Thereby, this project will use the clipping of the geographic reasoning principles presented by BNCC to, through description and directly observation made by Gomes in his works O lugar do olhar (2013) and Quadros Geográficos (2017), propose teaching activities in classroom that aim to operate geographic reasoning for an interpretation of reality and exercise of the spatial thinking.
