Abstract

The functionalization organic molecules through the activation of C-H bonds are among the most common transition metals catalyzed reactions. Despite the large number of examples in enantioselective transformations, there are still no reports on the use of ruthenium as a catalyst. This project aims to develop the first C-H activation reaction for this metal, using new half-sandwich ligands as the source of chirality. (AU)
