Abstract

The estereosselective development of chiral molecules is extremely important due of its applicability in development of drugs, fragrances and new materials. Among of existent methods for this stereochemical control, the promoted catalysis by metallic complexes has a privileged position, since the reactivity of the metals can be modulated accordingly with the type of used ligand. Among of various types of transition metal-catalyzed reactions, those involving the direct functionalization of bonds between carbon and hydrogen (C-H functionalization) have become popular in synthetic chemistry allowing a fast increasing of structural complexity. One of the factors that have contributed for this popularization was the development of the novel chiral ligands classes and their application in catalytically activated metallic complexes synthesis. In this scenario, this project aim the synthetize of novel chiral h6 enantioenriched ligands classes and use them for the build ruthenium complexes capable of catalyzing new reactions of C-H functionalization.
