Abstract

This research project has a purpose to analyze the erotic practices in the context of the Brazilian BDSM (Bondage / Discipline, Domination / Submission or Sadism / Masochism). As an analytical cut, we opted for Female Domination, that is configured as one of the sex roles categories of the BDSM community. The dominant women use digital media promoting spaces of sociability, of sexuality legitimization and textualization of desires and dilemmas that surround their daily lives. Through the multidisciplinarity of contemporary studies in digital contexts, this research project aims to carry out an ethnography of three blogspots to reach an understanding of what is the Female Domination in Brazil, who are these women, which gender and sexuality experiences are related to their behaviors and which are the goals that boost the use of digital media. For this intellectual development, we will use as theoretical references the Judith Butler and Michel Foucault concepts, to visualize how much these practices are transgressive or not, in relation to the heteronormativity truth regimes and the compulsory order of sex/gender/desire.
