Abstract

This Scientific Initiation project is inserted in the area of Feminist and Post-Colonial studies, and considers the issue of domesticity to be central, being both a spatial limitation and a power relationship that is strengthened as an instrument of colonial rule, according to Anne Mcclintock (2010). The reading hypothesis is that there are in Neighbours (Lília Momplé, 2012), Niketche: Uma História de Poligamia (Paulina Chiziane, 2018) e A Última Tragédia (Abdulai Sila, 2006), (re)structuration of this instrument and, female responses, which, in this research, will be demonstrated by the representations of the characters Narguiss, Muntaz, Rami and Ndani. It is intended, through the field of Comparative Literatures, to focus on the aesthetic and political aspects that translate in a transnational way the propositions contained here. Thus, investigate the domesticity in African Literatures through theoretical articulations and alternative critical paradigms.
