Abstract

This proposal is part of the Thematic Project "Environmental Governance in the Macrometrópole Paulista due to climatic variability", with a focus on investigating the role of social and transformational learning in the processes of social innovation necessary to transform energy practices at the community, institutional and material levels. This proposal aims to support the development of a transversal methodology to the studies that make up the Thematic Project in its dialogue with the different Gs, centered on theoretical approaches to social learning and transformative learning. The development of critical comparative analyzes between cases and integration of results are also objects of this proposition. The planned activities are then aimed at theoretical and methodological elaboration, the consolidation of scientific production around the cases, in addition to the dissemination, communication and scientific dissemination tasks of the research consortium and coordination of technical training for undergraduate students, master's and doctoral degrees linked to the project.
