Entry into higher education is a critical period for the student's academic adjustment. In undergraduate nursing, academic and relational demands are associated with levels of stress that can impact the quality of life of university students. Thus, it is possible to observe the importance of supporting interventional proposals to promote the mental health of nursing students, especially remotely, in view of the need for social distance due to the pandemic of COVID-19 and the familiarity of contemporary university students with digital resources. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate a mental health promotion software for students in the first year of undergraduate nursing. It is a quantitative descriptive study that will be developed with nursing students from a private higher education institution. This software is being tested on a sample of students from a public university and the present proposal has the potential to expand access to this tool, as well as to consolidate public-private partnerships for the development of technologies related to the mental health care of the population. In addition to the software, a sociodemographic questionnaire and a questionnaire for students' evaluation about the use of this intervention proposal will also be used. The data will be organized in a database and relevant statistical analyzes will be undertaken. (AU)
