Abstract

This fellow will be responsible for collecting data from satellite images, aerial photo images, and images from geographic information systems that will be obtained via Google Earth around the homes of adults in the city of São Paulo. It will be a cross-sectional survey that will be part of the data collection of people who will be interviewed again in the longitudinal study that will use baseline data from the São Paulo Health Survey (ISA) 2014-2015. The fellow will be in charge of carrying out the survey of items of the built environment around the homes and workplaces. Items related to the practice of physical activity will be analyzed using standardized methodology. The data will be analyzed in a descriptive way through means, standard deviations, frequencies, minimum and maximum values. The fellow must work 20 hours a week for 12 months, including evaluations, data analysis, and presentation of papers at scientific meetings. In the end, it is expected that this fellow has scientific training in the area in which the project is being developed, understanding the relationships of the environmental determinants of physical activity practices in leisure and for transportation.
