Abstract

Scientific research developed by Brazilian universities is among the most important in the world, providing processes and innovative products. Despite its relevance in the context of activities for knowledge production, Brazilian and other experts have been discussing the necessity of private funds and stimulus to improve the innovative process in Brazil. Indeed, innovation depends on investments in advanced scientific research and enterprises who be able to produce services and products innovative. In this sense, some authors highlight the excess of bureaucracy in the scientific knowledge management system as a great difficulty. It is difficult to transform innovative ideas from universities laboratories into new products, which can satisfy social demands. This project examines this context. The aim is to measure the interesting degree of technology-based firms for establishing collaborative relations and exchange experiences with academic researchers, in view to increase their knowledge. Empirical evidences will be obtained performing a Survey exploratory-descriptive.
