Abstract

The postdoctoral fellow to participate in this thematic project must have intellectual participation and work capacity to develop the central objectives of the project "Virological characterization of Brazilian isolates of SARS-CoV-2 and their capacity for neutralization by serum of previously infected individuals and /or vaccinated". In this project, it is of fundamental importance to monitor the different variants of SARS-CoV-2 isolated in Brazil, comparing them in different cell lines. Based on these accurate and real-time analyses, we will look at the dynamics of different isolates against sera from previously infected and/or vaccinated individuals. The associated data will be analyzed regarding the capacity of neutralizing the variants and a possible vaccine escape, prospecting elementary measures for the improvement of future therapeutic mechanisms.
