Abstract This research project seeks to understand the process of conceptual elaboration of children - more specifically, in children at the transistion age between childhold and adolescence - taking into consideration the relations between imagination and concept formation, such as brought upon by Vygotsky. Starting from field experience in an internship and a preliminary study about the subject, questions arise around the interrelations between the processes mentioned above, which integrate a complex functional dynamic. For this end, it is intended to analyze, from a historical-cultural point of view, what there is to say about these questions in a framework that yearns to encompass both a theorical foundation and a field research for praxis and observation. | |
