Abstract

The objective is to produce innovative cartographies to represent, in an integrated manner, elements of the natural landscape and the social landscape for an area of active transmission of schistosomiasis, considering a cut involving municipalities in the microregion of Ourinhos, SP. The project involves the use of orbital sensing data, in particular optical sensor images from satellite Earth observation programs, in particular, Landsat (NASA-USA), CBERS (China-Brazil) and Sentinel (ESA-UE) and images generated by drone with embedded Multispectral Camera and Laser Scanner. In addition to information from various sources for hydrographic bases, land use and coverage bases, geomorphometric databases, geology and pedology mappings and distribution of intermediate hosts, the demographic and agricultural censuses and the CNEFE (IBGE) bases, the information from the CAR-Cadastro Rural Ambiental and health information systems. The resulting cartographies must describe the characteristics of this regional landscape associated with the conditions involved in the construction of the risk for schistosomiasis in this territory.
