Abstract

The National School Feeding Program (PNAE) attends preschool, elementary and high school students, making it a universal and broad program. The past 12 years show great advances in the program. Since Law n. 11,947/2009, the PNAE incorporated sustainable development as one of his guidelines, as well as instituted the direct purchase by family agriculture, including organic food. Considering the challenges involving the direct purchase of family farms, especially organic products, this scientific initiation project seeks to understand the factors that influence (from the point of view of school nutrition professionals and public administrators) the purchase of organic products, produced by family farming, in the PNAE. This study will be carried out in two cities in São Paulo, with different realities and population sizes. To that end, secondary data will be analyzed and semi-structured interviews will be held. The analysis of the results will be conducted from the theoretical framework of street level bureaucracy. (AU)
