Abstract

The present project aims to create and develop a multimedia communication strategy for the thematic project "From basic understanding to clinical biomarkers for schizophrenia: a multidisciplinary study focused on neuroproteomics", supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and developed at the Laboratory of Neuroproteomics (LNP - State University of Campinas). During the term of the project, the beneficiary will participate in discussions and interviews with experts, as well as laboratory meetings in order to produce news, podcasts, reports and other media materials to be published in various media outlets. More than contributing to the dissemination of the results obtained in the research in question, this proposal aims to expand the understanding of the Brazilian population about the stigmas surrounding mental health, especially about schizophrenia and depression.
