Abstract

As a result of the pandemic, the school environment became remote, culminating in an increase in the volume of work for teachers, generating stress and anxiety. Research aimed at teachers is necessary, considering the longevity of the pandemic and the consequences of post isolation on vocal and mental health. Purpose: to verify and compare the presence of voice disorders during remote teaching with the post-social isolation period and identify possible predominant and intensifying factors. Method: a descriptive study, quantitative approach, clipping of multicentric research. Basic education teachers from the public education network in Campinas answered a bank of questions made available online when they were in remote teaching activity, and now they will answer the same instrument at the time after isolation with the return of face-to-face activities. The instrument identifies questions about COVID-19, the use of face masks and includes the questionnaires: Índice de Triagem de Distúrbios da Voz (ITDV), Questionário de Saúde Geral (QSG-12), Índice de Fadiga Vocal (IFV), Condições de Produção Vocal do Professor (CPV-P) that concerns the functional, demographic, organization and work environment issues, and the Job Stress Scale (JSS) and the Grau de Quantidade de Fala e Intensidade de Voz (GQFIV). Data analysis will be based on the relationships between the final score of each answered protocol. An improvement is expected in the post-isolation period related to mental and vocal aspects.(AU)
