Abstract

Tomato chlorosis virus (ToCV) is one of the predominant pathogens in tomato-growing areas in Brazil. ToCV is transmitted in a semi-persistent manner by the whitefly Bemisia tabaci. There is little information on the quantitative and/or qualitative damage caused by this virus in tomato crops. Therefore, the aims of this work are to evaluate the tomato fruits productivity and quality of cultivars Compack (table) and Caeté (industry), in plants infected with ToCV at different phenological stages.
