Abstract

To compose this process, this study and Scientific Initiation scholarship have the general objective of understanding the dimensions involved in the pregnancy and maternity of young students during the school period. Specifically, it aims to: I. understand the challenges of staying in school; II. to map the dialogue between young women and health services during pregnancy and after childbirth. The specific contribution of this scientific initiation is to collaborate on deepening the understanding of sexual and reproductive health and rights at school and to invest in the school's dialogue with health services. We assume that the school has been intensely modified by the pandemic, as well as school agents. In addition, the school is crossed by hierarchies of gender, race, class, generation, and others that reflect on the way in which young women experience pregnancy and motherhood at school. The process involved in this scientific initiation can help to identify and think about comprehensive prevention strategies used (or not) in the different contexts of life and, in particular, in the field of preventing pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. From this perspective, this project intends to better understand the reality of juvenile motherhood from the perspective of the young woman and propose workshops to work with prevention in the field of sexual and reproductive health - at school and in health services, having as a horizon the Line of Care for Health in Adolescence and Youth for the Unified Health System in the State of São Paulo.(AU)
