Abstract

Objective: identify and describe how climate change impacts the mental health of children and adolescents; assess the association between mental disorders in children and adolescents and climate change. Methods: This project is a systematic review and a Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) of the impact of climate change on children and adolescents. The inclusion criteria will be verified by initial screening of the title, afterwards, by reading the abstract and the entire article. Descriptive tables will be made aiming to summarize data and to make it easier to find and visualize information. Critic summaries will be written describing each of the ways climate change affects the mental health of children and adolescents, with the description of the negative and positive points of the used methodology.
