Abstract Melanoma is a type of Skin Cancer that can progress according to multifactorial disorders. The ability of Melanoma cells to invade and metastasize to organs distant from the body suggests their adaptability to different microenvironments. The imbalance of cellular homeostasis during oncogenesis together with the high heterogeneity of stromal cells associated with the tumor have a marked effect on the repertoire of proteins secreted by malignant cells. The metastatic potential of cancer cells is determined by factors that include the cells within the tumor microenvironment (tumor and stromal cells), as well as the factors released by these different cell populations. In this context, endothelial cells actively participate in the secretion of angiogenic factors that promote tumor growth and progression, in addition to secreting factors that enable the migration of tumor cells. Thus, the main objective of this project is to identify molecular patterns associated with the cross-talk of endothelial and tumor cells that contribute to the development and establishment of the pre-metastatic niche, as well as to its organotropism in Melanoma.
