Abstract

This present research aims to understand how the immersion of technological innovations, such as IoT and 5G is impacting journalism. The methodologies used will be: bibliographic research, through theoretical review on the subject, and documental research, through the systematization of reference reports. At first, a bibliographic review will be carried out on Journalism in all Things (BARCELOS, 2020), and, secondly, documentary research will be carried out, based on the reports of the Nieman Journalism Lab and the GSMA Mobile Economy Latin America, investigating what journalism projects for its future in the age of IoT and 5G technology. As a result of the research, it is expected to understand the possibilities and impacts that permeate the intricacies between journalism and technology.(AU)
