Abstract

Configuring as a continuation of the research carried out by the Center for Metropolitan Studies (CEM), mainly in its areas of Academic Diffusion and Transfer, the present work aims to look into the investigation, review and production of digital environments under the management of the Center, which have numerous data produced over two decades of operation and compiled in various formats, from technical notes to interactive maps, many of which are still in the implementation phase. The research relies on a theoretical deepening of the interaction design process which, combined with other activities such as the analysis of user behavior, periodic reviews and evaluations to validate usability aspects and constant dialogue with researchers and the Board of Directors of the Centre, aim at producing interactive digital interfaces that fulfill the main objective of the Diffusion and Transfer areas, which is the democratization of access to information produced by the Centre. In this sense, greater concern with aspects of usability and interaction, intrinsic to the digital world, with a focus on user experience, is understood here as fundamental for the full democratic dissemination of this scientific production.
