Abstract

The general Project has a title that encompasses lots of fields, however, the specific work to be developed by Luis Henrique, in less than 2 months, is focused on the understanding of the energy transition (substitution of the energy from fossil sources by renewable energies) to be concluded up to 20250. The objective is to find what are the main problems and challenges for this transition to be successful. These main challenges include solar and wind energy conversion to electric energy (or possibly hydrogen), energy storage (batteries or hydrogen), and efficiency, among others. Some visits to laboratories in the field of hydrogen, fuel cell, solar, and others are foreseen. (AU)
