Abstract

The aim of this study is to formulate experimental toothpaste containing different polymers (CHI: CHI: chitosan; LPP: sodium linear polyphosphate, MPC: 2- methacryloyloxyethyl and CA: Carbopol) associated to fluoride (F-, as NaF) and to fluoride plus stannous (Sn2+, as SnCl2) which will be evaluated in terms of the abrasive level (RDA and REA) and to test the efficacy of these formulations against enamel demineralization in vitro (n=12), using a pH cycling model. Data will be analyzed statistically using appropriate methods (± = 0.05). (AU)
