Abstract

This research project has as its object of study the Angolan educational policy, withregard to the implementation of public high schools in the municipality of Cambulo. The reviewof the literature on the subject and analysis of educational data indicate the existence of fewpublic high schools in the municipality of Cambulo, province of Lunda Norte - Angola, whichcompromises the training of professionals, since high school in Angola is it falls within thesecondary education subsystem, II Cycle of Secondary Education, in accordance with the BasicLaw of the Education and Teaching System (LBSE). In other words, it is a level of education thatprepares young people and adults for various professional areas. At the end of the Second Cycleof Secondary Education, young people can work in their training area, as a secondarytechnician. In view of this, the following research question arises: What are the policies that theAngolan governments adopt for the construction of public high schools in the municipality ofCambulo, which is the fourth municipality with the largest number of inhabitants and interritorial extension in the country? province of Lunda Norte? It seems that after more thanforty years of independence, Angolan leaders have not yet realized that it is imperative toexpand public secondary schools beyond the country's capital (Luanda). Therefore, the presentresearch project aims to analyze the implementation policy of public high schools in themunicipality of Cambulo province of Lunda Norte in the period from 2005 to 2018. To give atheoretical basis to our research, we worked with Pires (2005 ), Cunha and Cunha (2003),Oliveira (2010), Cury (2002), Neto (2005), Isaias (2013), Alves and Guedes, et al. (2019). Withregard to the methodological path, we will carry out a literature review, through varioussources, which will allow us to strengthen the framework for carrying out the research. Givenits objective, the research will be bibliographical, field, documentary study, in addition tostatistical survey on educational data in Angola. It is hoped that this research will contribute,both in the scientific-academic and social fields, to a deeper discussion on educational policy inAngola.
