Abstract

The violence against women is one of the most important themes in actuality, once that it is a problematic in the life of many women. Understanding this reality, mechanisms to notify and manage the violence suffered by the women in their daily lives were created, such as the System of Notification of Violence - SISNOV, in the city of Campinas/SP, the one that is present in multiples health assistant services, specially in Basic Health Units. Health units have important participation in preventing grievances and preserving the health of the population in a determined territory, ergo, it is fundamental that these units identify and notify properly, preventing grievances of the violence. However, in previous studies, a big gap on the padron of violence notifications was identified, and the data were not compatible with the profile of the population that occupied the territory, having a large tax of information ignored on the notification moment. Thus, in this study, using a mixed research methodology, expected to identify the frequency of notifications made by Basic Health Units and it's possible difficulties and barriers to notify the violence identified by the health professionals that are responsible to notify this violence in the Basic Health Units.
