Abstract

Many studies mention the non-aureus Staphylococci (NAS) as mastitis agents, but also as agents responsible for preventing mastitis by other pathogens. Thus, the objective of the work is to evaluate antimicrobial action of NAS against S. aureus isolated from mastitis. First, a screening will be conducted to verify if NAS strains inhibit the growth of the pathogens, then a survival curve will be performed to evaluate the influence of NAS on S. aureus.
