Abstract

This project is linked to the main post-doctoral research entitled "Remote teaching in the 'restrict world': an analysis of video classes produced by São Paulo Education Media Center (CMSP) during the corona virus pandemic" (Proc. Fapesp: 2022/00995-1). Within this proposed research internship abroad, we aim to improve the analysis of part of the empirical material that composes our analytical corpus: the CMSP video classes. Taking into account the dialogue with the main research project, in which we aim to investigate the didactic configuration of the video classes produced by this platform, considering the hypothesis that its design has particularities that reveal the character of the formation promoted in the São Paulo State schools during the pandemic, we aimed, in the research internship to be carried out at the Universitat de les Illes Balears/Spain, to deepen the interpretation of the data analyzed in Brazil. We will focus on the interpretation of the television design of video classes, operated through the entertainment, and its implications for the pedagogical dimension. This interpretation will be guided by the following question: what are the implications of mechanisms exogenous to the pedagogical scene, characteristic of television entertainment production, for the formative dimension? To this end, it is expected that one of the video classes will be analyzed by the research group of university in Spain, based on the empirical reconstruction and interpretation of the pedagogical scene produced by CMSP via television. Based on this analysis, we aim to deepen the understanding of the meanings of the didactic configuration in question, so that the characterization of the design of the video classes can be carried out.
