Abstract

Our proposal aims to present the backstage of the "Sound Archives of Theatre" project, which arises from the need to create methodologies for the approach of theatre sound. Our aim is to bring the world of academic research in the arts closer to the general public, raising awareness of the importance of preserving the sound memory of theater. We will do this through two products: the first is a podcast based on issues addressed by the project, containing excerpts from the sound documents used in the research. The discussion will take the form of an informal conversation with a researcher from the team and an artist or technician from the selected document. Each episode will be based on a theme decided and scripted with the help of the project's researchers. The same themes will be used to create the second content: 3 packages containing 5 short videos for social networks on the same themes, but exploring the tools of another medium.
