Abstract

Violence in schools has been the target of society's attention and constitutes a challenge for school managers and teachers who work in basic education. There is, however, a singularity that is being experienced in Brazil, at the beginning of the third decade of the century XXI, more precisely in the year 2023, which has mobilized public power expressly, mainly by the education and public security departments of the municipalities and Brazilian states. Rethink and give new meaning to daily school life, from a perspective innovative, considering the triggering of actions to prevent and minimize violence and its effects in schools, becomes urgent. The municipal public network education in Campinas (SP) presents a difference when it comes to carrying out institutional evaluation conducted by its own evaluation committee (CPA) constituted in school units. In this urgent scenario, institutional assessment and innovation educational programs have the potential to contribute to inhibiting violence in schools. Nessa perspective, the objective of this study is to investigate the contributions of assessment institutional and educational innovation for the prevention and minimization of violence in municipal public schools in Campinas. In a qualitative research approach, without disregarding quantifiable data, bibliographical and empirical research is included. A Production of empirical material will take place in three phases. In the first phase, documentary analysis of the pedagogical project of five schools selected for interview. In the second phase, a mixed questionnaire will be applied and in the third phase, a semi structured interview. The locus of the research will be the schools that are part of the network municipal public education system in Campinas and which present the CPA constituted. You Participants in the research will be the Secretary of Education and members of the education team of school management. A priori, it is intended that all school managers respond to the quiz. The interview participants will be the Secretary of Education and the membersof the school management team of five schools, with criteria yet to be defined, in order to include a school belonging to each Decentralized Educational Action Center (Naed) from the municipal public education network in Campinas. The relevance of this study lies in the potential to expand the field of study that deals with public policies in education, in addition to triggering reflection and subsidies for actions by educators, which refers to the prevention and remediation of violence at school and to the construction of a culture of peace. As a result, the research aims to contribute to effective actions linked to objectives of the Égide project. It is intended that the research also has the potential to contribute with the definition and redefinition of public policies that inhibit violence and corroborate to create a peaceful climate in schools
