Abstract

The general aim of the following study is to verify the implications of the profile of students from different years of the undergraduate medical course on the learning climate and educational environment of the skills and simulation laboratory (SSL). As specific objectives, it aims to characterize the socioeconomic and related profile and the characteristics related to the use of the LHS, identify the group learning climate in the LHS and measure the educational environment of the LHS. In addition, it seeks to compare the group learning climate between groups from different years of the course and identify whether there is a correlation between the characterization, group learning climate and educational environment of students at the LHS. To achieve these objectives, a cross-sectional cohort study will be carried out. Following ethical criteria, the study will be carried out at a public university in São Paulo, among students regularly enrolled on the course, from the 1st to the 6th year. Year. A total of 55 students will be included from each year who have been involved in LHS activities for at least six months. Data will always be collected after the activities carried out at the LHS, regardless of the facilitator responsible, the year of the course and the type of activity. For the collection, an instrument will be used to characterize the subjects and questionnaires already validated for this purpose: Climate for group learning (Onça, Bido and Carvalho, 2018) and Dundee Ready Educational Environment Measure (DREEM) (Oliveira Filho, Getúlio, Vieira, 2005). After collection, the data will be coded, entered into Microsoft Excel® spreadsheets, exported and analyzed in SPSS version 29®, based on the analysis forms of the original instruments. After the sample analysis, parametric or non-parametric tests will be used to compare and correlate the variables between the samples. The results will be presented in the form of graphs, tables and discursive reports.
