Abstract

Climate change with heat waves and its effects are the greatest environmental challenges facing humanity today. In 2010, Brazil made a commitment to have Low Carbon Agriculture (ABC) in its territory. One of these objectives is the recovery of degraded pastures, biological nitrogen fixation, and adaptation to climate change, are related to pastures and their management, which coincides with this proposal to generate scientific information regarding the mineral nutrition of plants for a better management of the pastures and contribute to the ABC plan. In view of this, the effects of heating (increase in plant temperature by +2°C) and inoculation with two strains of bacteria from Azospirillum brasilense: CNPSo 2083 and CNPSo 2084 in mavuno grass will be evaluated using the T-FACE FACE system (Temperature free -air controlled enhancement). The photosynthetic rate, photosynthetic pigments, nutrient content in the aerial part and the efficiency of use of these nutrients and the productivity of the plants during four cycles of growth or cuts will be evaluated
