Abstract

This scientific initiation scholarship, lasting 12 months, aims to study multiple cases of working arrangements of communicators in monitoring, observing, collecting information, organizing and recording the activities of these workers when interacting with digital instruments of work. The research will be developed throughout the Project "Dataification of communication activity and work of communicator arrangements: clashes with the determinations of platform companies". The central objective of scientific initiation scholarship holders in assessing this object will be to produce empirical reference elements that can help support the Project. The methodology will be qualitative research in the study of multiple cases based on the identification of communicator arrangements and involves on-site observation, monitoring of production and recording of this production to compose files that will be studied by all of the Project's researchers. As a result, it is expected to produce files recording the communicators' work experience, technical information about this work, production routines and interactions with the platforms. Everything organized in the form of files to be retrieved as a primary source for general research. The scholarship holder will be responsible for reporting results with theoretical-methodological reflection on the study of multiple cases and empirical research.
