Abstract

Sealing process is present in many branches of manufacturing industry, such as: automotive, aerospace, electronics, oil&gas, packaging, chemical, medical, optical, assembly, among others. It is responsible for preventing leaks, corrosion and lightning, filling gaps, and, to seal pressurized areas, tasks that need to be performed with precision, safety, and efficiency. Thus, this research proposes to integrate the vision computing and robot technologies to a Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), on a robotized sealing system. So, this project will focus on the use of a collaborative robot (cobot) equipped with a sealer end-effector that aims to improve human-robot interaction. This research will be performed on the deposition sealing process oriented by a real-time monitoring based on computing vision and sensor pattern recognition, assisted by GenAI-path generation, that improves the interaction with operators, optimizes the operational efficiency and supports manufacturing shop-floor
