Abstract

Additive manufacturing, also known as 3D printing, is an emerging technology that allows the development and fabrication of certain types of dispositives, made by different polymeric materials. This study proposes the development of voltammetric sensors, based on polymeric materials, such as polylactic acid (PLA), polyurethane, and carbon composites, as the conductive material. After due activation and characterization procedures and tests, parameters such as electrochemical response, tested by ferri/potassium ferrocyanide probes, as well as voltammetric signals and intensity of the physical parameters of the device. After deu procedures, the device will be applied in analytical chemical analysis, with the use of qualitative electrochemical techniques, such as cyclic voltammetry where the voltammetric response, as well as any other relevant parameter, of the device will be characterized, as well as quantitative techniques, such as differential pulse voltammetry where instrumental parameters will be analyzed. Comprehending the behavior of the device will impact in the positively in the quality control of soils, biological fluids and pharmaceuticals, improving the quality of public health and controlling environmental impacts, furthermore it will push forward the knowledge of the general fabrication and use of those devices
