Abstract

Linked to the research objectives of the undergraduate research project entitled Laplanche's Theory of Generalized Seduction and Its Contributions to Cases of Sexual Violence (Process FAPESP 2024/15752-2), this research aims to develop an articulation between cases of sexual violence, permeated by the whole dimension of suffering, and Jean Laplanche's Theory of Generalized Seduction, elaborated as a way of understanding the seduction suffered by children from contact with adults and its influence on the subjective formation of the unconscious. This proposal is for a research internship abroad (BEPE) with the goal of deepening the analysis of Jean Laplanche's theory based on study materials such as the critical fortune of texts by the author and his contemporaries available in France in national and university libraries. In addition, in collaboration with the Institut de Psychodynamique du Travail, the theory will be studied in conjunction with reflections on sexual violence and its impact on the subjectivity of those subjected to violence.
