Abstract

The creation of a reference center, such as the one being proposed, which will address topics such as digital technologies, data science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT) and energy efficiency, among others, consequently brings technical competence, new partnerships (including international partnerships) and public visibility to the various actors involved. Addressing complex issues and bringing them to society, especially those that will be directly impacted by the project, requires a well-structured communication plan with clear objectives so that information and concepts are conveyed in a clear, objective manner, with specific and adapted language and specific tools. It is imperative to bring these concepts to the population in a targeted approach effort to engage the population at the heart of the project in a way that makes them feel like they belong and actively participate in the transition and transformation of the municipality in which they live. It is in this sense, using the appropriate tools that are closest to the language, reality and day-to-day life of the public involved in the project, that the proposal for scientific dissemination of the CCD project in Public Lighting is inserted, so that society actively participates in the activities and inspections, both of government actions and public policies, as well as in the actions of those responsible for defining and implementing the measures adopted in their city, state and even on a global scale.
