Abstract

This research project brings together the fields of social and scientific communication to develop and implement, alongside with the journal Saúde e Sociedade, a scientific communication plan based on the concept of "scientific culture" (VOGT, 2003), developed by scholar Carlos Vogt in the early 2000s. We will approach this process as a collaborative, systematic initiative, focusedon two central points, namely: i) increasing access to the content of the journal Saúde e Sociedade; and ii) creating science communicationinitiatives aimed at the general public, in a cultural and socially engaged manner. Our main stage of activities will be the social networks, such as Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, but we will also work, in a complementary and contiguous way, towards the design of informative content intersecting health and human sciences by adapting the publications in question. Our action plan also includes collecting metrics data on the platforms used, as well as systematizing the experiments conducted (JARA, 2006), in an attepmt to generate knowledge for future and collective productions.JARA, Oscar.
