Abstract

This postdoctoral research supports the scientific development of the RECIDATA project, applying synthesis science approaches to the production, integration, and analysis of data on climate justice, nature-based solutions (NbS), and institutional capacities. The work focuses on case studies in the Metropolitan Regions of Sorocaba and Baixada Santista, combining spatial and socio-environmental data assessment, stakeholder interviews and workshops, and multi-criteria decision analysis to design future scenarios.The project aims to strengthen collaborative governance and climate adaptation policies by delivering an open integrated database, scientific publications, territorial reports, and policy briefs that support decision-making to enhance urban resilience and socio-environmental equity in metropolitan contexts.
