Abstract

The increasing demand for improving the quality in a software process motivates intense studies on systematics and real processes. Currently, the processes of free software projects have presented a high level of quality, boosting investigations. In free software projects, there is a lack of formal requirements management and specialized tools for Requirements Engineering, as free software projects. Aiming to assist the requirements management in such projects, a web tool, Wiki/RE, has been developed. The tool uses the wiki basic conceptions to implement an agile solution, aiming to support mainly the inclusion of Requirements Engineering in the processes of free software project. However, Wiki/RE, still needs to be implanted and to be divulged to community of developers. Moreover, the issues of how to include Wiki/RE in a framework of free software process must be analysed in order to Wiki/RE could be widely adopted. This research aims to prepare the Wiki/RE implantation, regarding its own requirements, in order to support the processes of free software and to launch its first steable version to community of developers. Besides, Wiki/RE will be integrated to a framework of free software process, named SAFE (//safe.icmc.usp.br), by means of a Web Service implementation that disponibilizes its communication with the other tools commonly adopted in free software development.
