Abstract

LISA is a project of an interferometric gravitational wave detector to be assembled in space, so the abbreviature LISA means Laser Interferometer Space Antenna. The LISA function is to find wavelength fluctuations in the sides of an equilateral triangle with side-length of 5x106km shaped by spaceships in each vertex of the triangle. The goal of this work is to re-elaborate a noise model for the LISA, discovering how the detector sensibility changes with variation in each detector characteristic and suggesting possible modifications in the actual project.
